Guided Tours
We would be pleased to organise a guided tour of the Theresan Military Academy for your group. The route through the exhibition "From the Imperial Residence to the Home of the Officers" will take you to places steeped in history and you will learn interesting details about the castle at Wiener Neustadt and the oldest military academy in the world!

Guided tours for individual visitors through the exhibition "From the Imperial Residence to the Officer's Forge" (no advance booking required):
- starting on May 29, 2022
- every Sunday at 16.00 hrs
- max. 2 groups of 15 people each (ticket purchase in advance is recommended)
- Starting point of the tour: In the west gate of the castle
- Duration: approx. 75 minutes

- Price: € 8.00 per person, young people up to 18 years € 4.00, children up to 6 years: free admission
Visit to the wall of coats of arms:
- daily from 08.00 hrs until nightfall
- Visitors report to the guard and are granted access to the castle courtyard on deposit of a photo ID
- free of charge
- no advance booking required
- Please note: Due to official necessities, access to the castle courtyard may be prohibited at short notice!
Visit to St. George's Cathedral:
- daily from 08.00 hrs until nightfall
- Access via the church entrance Grazerstraße
- free of charge
- no advance booking required
- To be observed: Visiting St. George's Cathedral in this form only allows access to a restricted area at the rear of the church.
- Please note: Due to official and/or religious necessities, access to St. George's Cathedral may be prohibited even at short notice!
Note for persons with reduced mobility
Unfortunately, not all parts of the castle are accessible to the disabled. Currently there is only one lift to St George's Cathedral. The use of the lift is time-consuming. Please plan for this during your visit! Groups with several wheelchair users are kindly requested to arrange their visit in advance with us (Tel.: 02622 373 315)
The Military Academy reserves the right to prohibit visits to the castle on certain days - even at short notice - or to restrict them in terms of time and space!
