There are many buildungs in the Academy Park with connections to the Theresan Military Academy.
Daun Barracks
This expansive school building was constructed in 1939/40 in place of the old swimming pool and the horse riding hall. After the Second World War damage, it was restored in 1948/49 and incorporated into the municipal school system.
In 1956 the eastern wing was cleared to make quaters for the soldiers of Feldjägerbataillon 1. Hence, the building was named "Feldjägerkaserne". On 20th December, 1966, the "Feldjägerkaserne" was renamed "Daun Kaserne" (Daun Barracks), after the Theresan Military Academy´s first Commandant, Field Marshall Leoppld Count Daun.
Since 1967 the buidling has been used by the School Battalion that is organic to the Theresan Military Academy. The western wing is still used by public schools.
Cross Building – Institute 2
The white cross-shaped building is home of the Institute for Advanced Officer Training (Institute 2). The building was opened in 1990. All of the lecture rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art technical facilities.
Building number 66
In 1977, this cross-shaped building was built. Renovation in 2017. It houses the HQ Company.
Multi-Use Gymnasium
In 1990, in cooperation with the municipality of Wiener Neustadt, a multi-use gymanasium was errected. This facility is used in equal parts by the civil school centre in the park and the Thersan Military Academy. After normal working hours, the gymnasium is available for use by various sports clubs.
Heating plant
At the beginning of the Second World War, a heating plant was installed southwest of the Daun Barracks. It provides warm water for washing and heating. The heating plant used brown coal at first, but then changed to coke. Starting in the middle of the sixties, oil was used an seince the end of the seventies, natural gas has been used.
Since 2019 most of the buidlings at the campus are linked with the district heating sytsem operated by the EVN-company. This will be the same for the Daun Barracks end of 2020. Then, the heating plant will be closed after 80 years in use.
Garages
In the "Günser Garage" most of the car pool of the Military Academy is maintained. The rest of the vehicles are kept in the "Kinsky-Garage", which is located in the Kinsky-Avenue.
Riding Hall
The current riding hall with horse stables was built in 1908. After the Second World War the buidling was used temporarily as a sport gymnasium and for exhibitions. Since 1968 it was the home of the horse riding squadron of the Theresan Military Academy. From 2019 - 2020, the building were used by the police for the mounted police instruction.
Housing Area
Houses were build in the southern part of the park in 1939 for military personel of the Academy. In 1971 seven apartment houses were built an in 1978 another two were added. Nowadeys military employees as well as civilians live here with their families.
Power station
As early in 1892 there were considerations about using the Kehrbach-creek to produce electricity. The power station was built between 1903 an 1906, enlarged in 1916, and provided electricity for the Academy for decades.
The power station is still un use today. Owned and operated by the local power supplier EVN, it has delivered electricity to the pubkic net for more than 20 years. The generator has a power of 480 kW.
Foals´ Farm
Under director Count Kinsky, a stud farm with foals was founded in 1798. This farm existed until 1918. It provided also agricultural products for the Academy.
After the Second World War, the federal estate "Foals´Farm" was established. The stables were expanded and modern houses for employees were built. The federal estate also kept pigs and carried out park and forrest work on the property of the Academy.
Nowadays, the pig farm is closed, the fields are rented out and the area of the "Foals´Farm" belong to the Municipality of Wiener Neustadt. In the next years, the "Foals´Farm" should become a meeting point for recreation, gardening, arts and events.
Swimming Pool
The Swimming Pool in the eastern part of the park is used for swimming instruction. It got originally its water from the Kehrbach stream, but since 1971 the water has come from the municipality and been pumped through a gravel filter and chemically prepared. The pre-warmed water in the pool makes swimming instruction possible from May through the middle of September. The pool is open to the public.
